SUP-TDS7001 Electrical Conductivity Sensor for Water Treatment, Pharmaceutical, and Environmental Industries
Introduction
The SUP-TDS7001 Online Conductivity Sensor represents the vanguard of smart chemical analysis, designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern industrial processes. As a versatile analytical instrument, it satisfies the need for multiple single-parameter sensors by providing simultaneous measurement capabilities for EC, TDS, and Resistivity.
This innovative integration not only reduces complexity and installation costs but also ensures seamless data correlation for superior process control. Widely deployed across thermal power, chemical, metallurgy, and water treatment sectors, the SUP-TDS7001 water conductivity sensor delivers continuous, high-precision data, making it indispensable for maintaining water quality integrity and optimizing system efficiency.
SUP-TDS-7001 online conductivity/resistivity sensor, an intelligent online chemical analyzer, is widely applied for continuous monitoring and measurement of EC value, TDS value, Resistivity value, and temperature of the targeted solutions in the thermal power, chemical fertilizer, environmental protection, metallurgy, pharmacy, biochemistry, food and water, etc inductries.
Working Principle
The sensor operates on the established electrolytic conductivity principle:
1. Electrode Interaction: An AC excitation voltage is applied across the fixed-geometry 316 Stainless Steel electrodes, creating an electric field within the sample.
2. Conductance Measurement: The system measures the electrical current passed through the solution, which is directly proportional to the concentration of free ions.
3. Data Derivation: This conductance is then converted to Conductivity by factoring in the known Cell Constant (K). Resistivity is calculated as the mathematical inverse of the compensated conductivity.
4. Thermal Integrity: The integrated NTC10K thermistor provides real-time temperature input, which is used by the accompanying analyzer for automatic and highly precise Temperature Compensation, ensuring reported values reflect standardized reference conditions (e.g., 25°C).
