Working principle
Step 1: Electrochemical Potential Generation
When the sensor is immersed in a solution, the measuring electrode and the Ag/AgCl reference electrode generate an electrical potential that changes according to the solution’s acidity or alkalinity.
Step 2: Signal Conversion and Stabilization
The resulting potential difference reflects hydrogen ion activity and is processed by a high-impedance measurement circuit. The Ag/AgCl reference system maintains a stable reference voltage, while the PTFE junction resists clogging and ensures consistent ion exchange.
Step 3: Accurate pH Output
Thanks to precise voltage detection, optimized internal impedance, and fast response characteristics, the sensor delivers accurate and reliable pH readings in both static and flowing liquid environments, even under demanding conditions.
